You’ll notice some new additions the next time you visit the Pence Union Building (PUB) on the Cheney campus. Two great-big signs have been attached to the outside of the building. You’ll see a large white EWU Eagle logo on the front of the building, facing the campus mall. On the northeast wall, facing Elm Street, you’ll see a red and black Eastern Washington University sign. Both will eventually light up at night.
The signs are not new to EWU, they’ve been moved to the Cheney campus from the Spokane University District building commonly referred to as Phase 1. In the fall, several Eastern programs, including the School of Business, moved from that building in the University District to the new Catalyst building on the South Landing. We think the “new” signs look right at home in their new locations, and add to the Eagle Pride displayed throughout the building and in the Eagle Store inside.
