Virtual Labs (Legacy)

Virtual Labs connects you to an EWU lab computer from a remote location. When logged in to the remote desktop, you can access most of the software that is available on the computers in EWU on-campus labs. The remote computer connects to your desktop, but the processing speed and memory is dependent upon the remote connection, not your personal computer.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

A virtual private network (VPN) extends the campus network across the Internet, and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the campus network. Applications running on a computing device, e.g., a laptop, desktop, smartphone, across a VPN may therefore benefit from the functionality, security, and management of the campus  network.
