FYEs may satisfy a requirement in a breadth area. An FYE will count toward the required 26 credits for breadth areas. FYE classes are optional, but strongly encouraged for all new first time freshmen.

Outcomes

The following Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) will be infused across the content and are intellectual and practical skills based on national standards.

Each breadth area course, including FYEs, addresses two GE outcomes, one from each group:
