Theater folks are nothing if not creative. Even though they were forced to cancel their spring production, it didn’t take long for the department to adapt an in-person discipline to an online format.
EWU’s College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics’ (CSTEM) 100 Women Strong program has been recognized as one of the “Inspiring Programs in STEM” for 2020 by Insight into Diversity magazine.

EWU interim President David May has announced that Brian Donahue, PhD, vice provost for academic administration, will serve as interim provost and vice president for Academic Affairs through September 18.
In elevating May from his current position as EWU’s provost and vice president for academic affairs, the Board of Trustees said it was important to maintain continuity. May spearheaded the university’s approach to ensuring student success and safety during the pandemic, and has been instrumental in working with faculty on the current academic reorganization of colleges.
All employees who are working on one of EWU’s campuses are required to fill out a daily symptom check online before coming to campus or immediately upon arrival.
