The director of Washington’s Office of Equity dropped by EWU to get a firsthand look at how the university is supporting students through diversity and inclusion efforts.
Ada Limón, one of the nation’s most celebrated writers and the first poet of Mexican descent to be honored as the United States Poet Laureate, will be one of the headliners for the 2023 festival.

The Eastern Washington University Board of Trustees (BOT) will hold a regular meeting Oct. 20-21. The meeting will be held in person on the Cheney campus with a virtual option. The agenda and location/Zoom/phone information can be found on our Board of Trustees website.
The 2022 midterm elections aren’t far off, and EWU is hoping students will continue their trend of enthusiastic participation in the voting process.
