Vaccination records and waiver requests must be uploaded in the Med+Proctor system. Information about how to upload your records or waiver request into Med+Procotor is available at www.ewu.edu/immunizations. The details of EWU’s immunization requirement are contained in Interim EWU Policy 602-02 (Immunizations). If you need assistance uploading your vaccination records or requesting a waiver, please contact Stephanie Bradley in Human Resources at 359.6790 or email sbradley5@ewu.edu.
Symptom Attestations
Employees are no longer required to fill out a daily symptom attestation. Employees should continue to monitor their symptoms and stay home if they are feeling sick.
Reporting Cases and Building Notifications
In order for EWU to respond quickly and effectively to any positive COVID-19 cases on campus, please report any COVID-19 symptoms or positive cases immediately to EWU’s COVID-19 Response Team. The best way of notifying the team is to fill out an online report at www.ewu.edu/reportcovid. The COVID-19 Response Team will continue its process of contact tracing and sanitizing impacted areas. Anyone who is identified as a close contact (within 6’ for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) will receive individual notification that they may have been exposed to COVID. Information about the number of positive cases on campus is available on EWU’s Risk Management website.
EWU recently added a new feature to the statistics website to meet the requirements of the new Health Emergency Labor Standards Act. EWU will be providing notification to the campus community of cases of employees who tested positive. The notification will include information about the buildings visited by such employees during their infectious period. If you wish to receive this information, please check the COVID statistics website on a regular basis. This information is in addition to the individual notice people will receive if they are close contacts.
