Eagle Family Homecoming is Now ‘Eagle Strong Weekend’

With no football game or in-person events to build a traditional homecoming around in 2020, EWU is putting plans on hold in hopes the university and alumni can celebrate homecoming in the spring. This fall, Eagle Nation is instead invited to gather virtually for some spirited activities during Eagle Strong Weekend.

While many of the main events happen Oct. 9-11, much of the fun started on Monday. For example, take advantage of great Eagle deals at local eateries and alumni-owned restaurants all week, plus get 25 percent off EWU items in-store and online at the Eagle Store. There are also opportunities to show your Eagle pride—and even win prizes—with the Fest Your Nest Contest and EWU themed pumpkin carving templates.

Then the fun really intensifies over the weekend. You can take part in a virtual scavenger hunt and tailgate games on Saturday. Plus, enjoy outdoor recreation throughout the weekend by paddleboarding, rock climbing or renting a mountain bike.
