EWU Disability Support Services (DSS) has a new, efficient way to manage student accommodations. MyDSS will be available to current DSS students and faculty starting this fall.
Ed Byrnes, PhD, a professor of social work at Eastern Washington University, continues his six years of research on race and law enforcement contacts by joining with the NAACP and Spokane County Sheriff’s Office in researching civilians’ race and arrests.
In elevating May from his current position as EWU’s provost and vice president for academic affairs, the Board of Trustees said it was important to maintain continuity. May spearheaded the university’s approach to ensuring student success and safety during the pandemic, and has been instrumental in working with faculty on the current academic reorganization of colleges.
