EWU is sad to report the loss of John Berdis, a longtime EWU staff member who passed away on Nov. 20, 2021. Berdis worked at EWU as the Parking and Transportation Services supervisor from 1998 until when he passed away, at age 63.  His obituary can be viewed here. 

Eastern Washington University is sad to report on the death of retiree Jerry Uppinghouse, who served in the Advancement office for nearly 15 years starting in 1999. He also was active with the EWU Retirees Association. Online obituary.
