The fall 2022 quarter officially begins Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Eastern Washington University. As usual, campus is bustling with energy in the week leading up to the start of classes.
This year’s Welcome Week is full of activities to help acclimate new students to campus. There will be various orientation activities throughout the week leading up to classes.
New EWU President Shari McMahan will deliver her welcome address at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Showalter Auditorium. During the address, which can also be viewed via Zoom, Dr. McMahan will share details about her first 100 days as president and how Eastern is moving forward to a bright future.
Additionally, after Dr. McMahan’s welcome, the campus community is invited to the Showalter lawn starting at 11:30 a.m. to participate in our annual Pass Through the Pillars event. It’s to give our new Eagle students a tremendous welcome!
