Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau surveys every household in America on demographics such as age and race. The results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year.

COVID-19: Latest Updates and Response Plan

EWU has made the decision to delay the start of spring quarter by one week, to April 6. Spring semester will also resume April 6. This will allow students, faculty and staff more time to prepare for the start of the term and increase opportunities to “flatten the curve.”

In Memoriam: Alys Seifert

Alys Seifert, a long-time educator in EWU’s Modern Languages and Literature Department, died on March 4, 2020 at the age of 84.

UPDATE: Big Sky, NCAA Tournament Canceled Due to COVID-19

The NCAA has canceled the Division I men’s and women’s basketball tournaments due to COVID-19. This means the EWU men’s basketball team will not play in what would have been its third berth into the tournament.
