Covid-19 Emergency Orders to End

Governor Jay Inslee has declared that Washington’s Covid-19 state of emergency will end on Oct. 31, although most of the 85 orders have already been lifted, according to a news release from The Office of the Governor.

Eastern Washington University is currently working through the details of what the governor’s announcement will mean for campus. The university will update students, faculty and staff about any changes before the state of emergency ends.

University leadership will remain diligent and work with public health experts to monitor the virus and take action if needed.

In the meantime, thank you to everyone who helped with the virus-management protocols that kept our Eagle community safe.
