Become an ‘UndocuAlly’ and Support the Undocumented Community

The EWU Multicultural Center is proud to present “UndocuALLY” workshops in order to advance awareness of the undocumented community. The workshops will focus on the Eastern undocumented student experience and help enhance the knowledge of the campus community about the needs of undocumented people both on campus and in our world.

UndocuALLY is a two-hour virtual workshop offered periodically throughout each quarter. The Multicultural Center hopes that after the workshop participants will be able to:

  1. Differentiate between DACA, undocumented and international student statuses
  2. Name systemic disparities faced by undocumented students in higher education
  3. Identify resources for undocumented students (both on and off campus)
  4. Recognized how through their role at EWU they can support undocumented students

UndocuALLY is intended for anyone interested in being a responsible and visible ally for undocumented students (faculty, staff and students are welcome) on the EWU campus.

The next upcoming workshops are scheduled for Feb. 25 and Mar. 18. To register for one of the workshops, please fill out the online registration form.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to get in contact with the staff at the Multicultural Center at mcc@ewu.edu.
