EWU Public Health Expert Discusses the Likely Longevity of Coronavirus Disruptions

David Line, director of public health programs at Eastern Washington University, is among the local health experts featured in a Sunday Spokesman-Review story on the expected prolonged disruptions caused by COVID-19.

Line and other regional health experts agree that the coronavirus is not going away any time soon and that current closures and restrictions will likely be extended.

“We’ve lost the first set of battles, so we need to anticipate that even though we are ramping up and doing the right things, we are going to lose ground,” Line says in the article.
