During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Spokesman-Review is producing a series of virtual forums as part of its Northwest Passages series.
On Monday, May 11, EWU Psychology Professor Philip Watkins, PhD, discussed his vast research on gratitude and happiness, and how it can help us during this difficult time. Watkins says it’s ok to admit something is sad and to experience the sadness, as long as we allow ourselves to learn from bad things and transform your feelings into ones of gratitude.
He also discusses a unique class he teaches at EWU, Happiness and Positive Psychology.
