Announcement from Provost David May and CSTEM Dean David Bowman:
Members of the University Community,
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jackie Coomes, Professor of Mathematics, has agreed to be the interim Associate Dean for the College of STEM. Dr. Coomes will assume the role effective June 15.
Jackie is an Eastern alumna who has been on the faculty since 1999. Most recently she was Special Assistant to the Provost for Honors. She is currently Director of the Noyce Program, has served as President of the Faculty Org, and has led numerous other recruitment, retention and student success initiatives. Her research expertise is in the teaching and learning of mathematics.
