Hundreds of area school kids got to spend part of their day cheering on the Eags last Thursday. EWU hosted its annual Kid’s Day at the EWU vs. Montana women’s basketball game at Reese Court on Feb. 6. The event featured free admission for kids and discounted tickets for adults. And to make it even more fun, the young students got to holler with the cheerleaders and goof around with Swoop.
Unfortunately, the Eastern women fell to the Griz, 77-56, but that likely didn’t spoil the memories made by all those excited future Eagles.
