EWU men’s basketball head coach, Shantay Legans, was recently named one of the Top 40 Coaches Under 40 by ESPN. Legans is serving his fourth year as head coach for the Eagles and 12th year overall. He guided EWU to finishes of 23-8 overall and 16-4 in the Big Sky in the 2019-20 season.
