The Washington State Patrol makes a difference every day, enhancing the safety and security of our state by providing the best in public safety services. They provide service to our citizens with humility and work on making everyone feel as safe as possible.
A group of kids that I work with from the Airway Heights Parks and Recreation center went on a field trip to Turnbull. We learned about the different type of animals and made food baskets for certain animals. The kids will learn about a local wildlife place and the difference they can make with nature and the earth.
My 2nd-grade class worked together to raise socks for the residents at Guardian Angel Homes. The project lasted 2 weeks, and the students gathered as many socks as possible and they brought them to class so we could deliver them to the organization. The students felt like they were apart of something big, and they enjoyed gathering socks to those in need.
The purpose of Spokane Valley Partners is to help provide and support the basic needs of families in the area. They are committed to help find housing, health care, food, employment and other basic needs for families in the area. There are multiple ways to work with this organization to help donate money, resources, time, and effort. Spokane Valley Partners works to prevent hunger and poverty in the community.
Guardian Angel Homes is an assisted living and memory care community that allows elderly residents to live in an environment that feels like home. The community offers a range of living options from a small single level home, to a larger two story-residence in order to allow residents to choose the environment in which they are most comfortable.
This organization donates 1 tree for every 1$. The organization has donated thousands of trees to multiple different regions all over the world. The whole goal of the organization is to bring awareness to solutions of deforestation.
