The Lands Councils mission is to preserve and revitalize Inland Northwest forests, water, and wildlife through advocacy, education, effective action, and community engagement. This organization is fantastic to collaborate with and have a variety of focuses from water restoration to wildlife support. They envision a day when the forests of the Inland Northwest are protected for a diversity of wildlife species and provide communities with a source of plentiful clean water. The Lands Council has a goal of a public that understands the importance of protecting forests and water.

Keyes Fibre

Keyes Fibre is a green business located in Wenatchee, Washington. They are committed to use all recycled materials in order to better the environment. Keyes Fibre produces the trays for packaging different kinds of fruit, eggs, and beverages.

JDRF stands for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Their mission is to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and support those in the community living with T1D. Join the team to help turn Type One into Type None!

Honor Flight

Honor flight is a non-profit national organization created to honor America’s veterans. Honor Flight allows our heroes to visit Washington D.C to see and reflect on the war memorials. Priority is given to those World War II survivors and those veterans that are terminally ill. Currently there are 27,272 veterans on the waiting list to be able to visit these memorials.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity’s vision and mission is, “A world where everyone has a decent place to live. While seeking to put God’s love into action.” This organization is about making sure that families in need are able to own an affordable house. The catch is that they are required to help build their home along with putting in a set amount of hours into other people’s homes, as well. This organization chose to help with housing for people in need because with the rising cost of housing they see how many families struggle to keep a adequate roof over their heads and wanted to be a positive change to those in need.

Grades of Green

Grades of green is a non-profit organization whose goal is to instill environmental values in students around the world. Their purpose is to provide free and easy to access educational resources to students, teachers and schools so that we can all work on creating a better future for our world and everyone in it. They have 40+ activities all aimed at instilling environmental values in youth across the globe.
