Little Free Library was first started by Todd H. Bol who later created a non-profit organization.
This organization inspires a love for reading. It invites everybody to take a book and leave a book. The purpose of this organization is to provide age-appropriate books for children all over the world. Little Free Library helps maintain little libraries all over the world.
Kiva is an international nonprofit organization that seeks to empower people all over the world to create opportunities for themselves. It does this through crowdfunding. Kiva connects many people, each with the ability to lend small amounts of money, with those who need help making a better future for themselves and their families. Every dollar you lend goes towards funding loans.
The purpose of Kind Campaign is to bring awareness to young girls of the harmful effects of girl-against-girl bullying. They give girls a glimpse of the harm it can cause and give them tools be successful women while not tearing down others. The founders, Lauren Paul and Molly Thompson started this because they have both been effected by female bullying and want to inspire young girls that being kind to others will change their lives.
The mission statement for Keep America Beautiful is “To inspire and educate people to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment.” This organization and its volunteers are dedicated to improving recycling and end littering around the country. Keep America Beautiful, with the help of its five million plus volunteers, wants to educate people about the impact of recycling and the impact of littering.
JDRF stands for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Their mission is to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and support those in the community living with T1D. Join the team to help turn Type One into Type None!
