Salvation Army

Student Contributor -Chase Burnham
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The salvation Army contributes through: “Together, we feed, we shelter, we mentor, we rehabilitate, we rescue victims of human trafficking, we help disaster survivors, we provide hope. We do the most-good whenever and wherever we are needed.”

Teachers and students can partner with the Salvation Army to bring change through creating a clothing drive for people who are homeless in their community. They can also fundraise money that can be donated to the salvation army that help contribute to any expenses they experience with the supporting of people who are in need.
