The mission of UNICEF is to provide children and communities with important supplies. Those supplies can provide assistance with education, health, shelter, and even clothes. These supplies are given to people in need around the world that need them the most.

Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge

This organization preserves and protects the Turnbull wildlife and habitat near Cheney Washington, while also providing education through its many partner programs. This organization is all about conserving and preserving Turnbull, and they do this with their many different types of management (e.g. Habitat, Fire, and Elk management). Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge has many different volunteering opportunities for people to help with. These opportunities include assisting with wildlife research, environment education, administration, maintenance, habitat restoration, and trail maintenance.

Trash Free Earth

Trash Free Earth

Trash Free Earth is an organization that advocates for an environment that is trash free through educating those around them and getting the community to participate in clean ups all over. This organization sets up various projects to gather people apart of their organization and those not yet to clean up popular areas to make them look healthy and happy again. They often times partner up with other organizations or communities to clean up together.

Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.
This program collects and distributes new unrawpped toys by local donations, those purchased by the foundation, and those donated by corporations. The foundation aims to unite members of local communities in a common cause to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.

The Gathering House

The Gathering House

The Gathering House is an Evangelical Covenant Church committed to using its resources of space, time, and assets to create an environment where lives can be changed under the purposes and leadership of Jesus Christ. Worship occurs every Sunday and the other 6 days is transformed into a café serving the local community with coffee from local roasters, a salad bar, hot soups, and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches by day. This café is a jobs-training location, hiring individuals out of prison where they gain life skills and work skills with ambitions to move on to greener pastures. The evenings provide community space and a stage for open mic nights, meetings, and other presentations or performances.

The Ezra Project

The Ezra Project

The Ezra Project is an organization that is building a home in Guatemala named The Isaiah 58 Home. This will be a place for orphans and for mothers in need. While meeting basic human needs, the home seeks to provide education for these children, and most importantly, help them grow spiritually.
