8:30am Asbestos, Lead and Silica Awareness

Annually required class for anyone who works around but does not disturb asbestos containing materials, this training complies with WAC 296-62-07722. Covers the hazards associated with asbestos and safe work practices. This training also briefly covers lead and silica that may be present in the workplace.

1:00pm Stop the Bleed Training Class

The Cheney Fire Department and Providence Medical Center is team up with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Stop the Bleed® program to empower the general public to make a difference in a life-threatening emergency by teaching them the basic techniques of bleeding control.  Class starts at 1:00pm to 3:00pm https://www.bleedingcontrol.org/
