Mead Food Bank

The Mead Food Bank provides assistance to families and individuals living within the boundaries of the Mead School District with food and clothing. In order to fulfill the mission the food bank operates to supply food, clothing and referrals to persons in need living within the service area. Work in conjunction with other agencies, churches and other organizations to serve the surrounding people. It operates as a volunteer nonprofit agency, obtaining the majority of its support and donations from the community.

1) To give without any strings attached to individuals. We desire to meet material needs all while sharing the Love of Christ.
2) To help other groups, organizations, and churches with material items so they can continue in their efforts to reach our community!
3) To be a One-Stop-Shop for groups who have a desire to make a difference in their community. ​

Little Free Library

Little Free Library was first started by Todd H. Bol who later created a non-profit organization.
This organization inspires a love for reading. It invites everybody to take a book and leave a book. The purpose of this organization is to provide age-appropriate books for children all over the world. Little Free Library helps maintain little libraries all over the world.

Lands Council

The Lands Council

The Lands Councils mission is to preserve and revitalize Inland Northwest forests, water, and wildlife through advocacy, education, effective action, and community engagement. This organization is fantastic to collaborate with and have a variety of focuses from water restoration to wildlife support. They envision a day when the forests of the Inland Northwest are protected for a diversity of wildlife species and provide communities with a source of plentiful clean water. The Lands Council has a goal of a public that understands the importance of protecting forests and water.
