City Gate’s mission statement is “To Reclaim, Rebuild, and Restore, Lost and Broken Lives.“ They are a Christian organization that strives to support people in many ways through the use of a food bank, clothing bank, free meals throughout the week, and through providing low-cost studio apartments to people trying to get back on their feet. They average serving 60,000 people every 6 months.

St. Margaret’s Shelter

St. Margaret’s Shelter provides emergency and transitional shelter to promote positive life changes in a supportive, short-term environment. St. Margaret’s Shelter offers social services that include individualized case management to regain and stabilize housing for families experiencing homelessness. They offer stabilization services that are driven by the families they serve and provide housing and vocational experts to assist families with resources and connections to community partners and programs.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a nonprofit specialized hospital and research center that provides care for children with cancer and catastrophic illnesses. St. Jude provides amazing care and resources for families in need from all 50 states and around the world with their international outreach program. Their mission statement is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of the founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.

Spokane Valley Senior Center

The purpose of the association is to promote fellowship, health, recreation, social and education activities for persons 55 years of age and older, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin or ancestry. The Senior Center offers a year-round variety of activities including social, recreational, educational, and nutritional programs to meet the interests of seniors. Those programs include: bingo, card games, Wii bowling, aerobics, tai chi, pickle ball, information and referral services, art classes, dances, free hearing tests, foot care and other kinds of care.
