Register for lessons in person, or by calling 509-359-6923 or 359-4252. You can also email the Aquatic Center Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org to request lessons. We offer both private and group lessons throughout the year. Group lessons are $7/30 minute class*. Private lessons are by arrangement and are $22/30 minute class. Semi-private lessons are also by arrangement and are $27.50/30 minute class.

We register only one session at a time, to provide maximum flexibility in the schedule. This allows for accommodating changing needs of the customers.
Water Exercise is low to zero weight bearing and is great for aerobic exercise that won't punish your joints. Drop-In rate is $7.00 per day*. Registration rate is $6.00 per day
You can register for only the classes you are able to attend at $6.00/class! This rate is only applied when you register in advance for more than one day of class.

Need to learn to swim, or just brush up on your technique? This program is for you! Stroke Clinic fulfills a course requirement, thus EWU students enrolled in Swim Time are no charge.

Certification to teach the Red Cross Learn to Swim program. Two year certification. Minimum age 16. Excellent swimming ability is required. Blended Learning course - online portion is required. Course materials are online via Red Cross Learning Center. Limit 10 students.

Certification to operate an aquatic facility (pool or water park). Five year certification through National Recreation & Park Association (NRPA). Call to register at 509-359-6923, or sign up at the Aquatic Center. Course materials are included upon paid registration. Limit 20 students.
EWU classes are offered in cooperation with a Dive Shop in Spokane. SCUBA is a great class for our exceptionally deep pool at 18'. Sign up with the EWU registrar for PHED 125 SCUBA Diving.
Every Monday & Wednesday night from 7 to 9 pm during the school year.
Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Course - November 18-20. Friday 5-9 PM. Sat/Sun 8-5 PM. 20 hours. Registration is now open. Call 509-359-4252 or 509-359-6923 to register or drop by and register in person. Certification to teach the Red Cross Lifeguarding program courses. 2 year certification. Must be 17 by last day of class and possess a basic level LGT certification. Exemplary Lifeguarding skills are required. $160 for EWU students, $210 for general public.
