EWU McNair Scholar Quentin Young Accepted to Industrial-Organizational Psychology MA at Seattle Pacific University

Quentin Young accepted to SPUCongratulations to EWU McNair Scholar Quentin Young! Quentin has been accepted to Seattle Pacific University’s Industrial-Organizational Psychology MA program.

From the MA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at SPU website:

This program gives you a strong theoretical foundation to meet real-world challenges, conduct research, and gain field-practicum experiences. As a scholar-leader, you will design and deliver interventions in this STEM-approved I-O psychology master’s program to develop leaders in the workplace.

At EWU, Quentin is majoring in Applied Developmental Psychology and Minoring in Africana Studies and Coaching. He did his 2022 Summer Research Internship with mentor Dr. Okera Nsombi, titled The Effect of Regular Exercise on Stress and Anxiety Levels. He is interested in becoming a sports psychologist and opening up his own private practices and sport facilities. The McNair staff are excited for Quentin and know he will be successful at any graduate program he attends.
