The McNair Program, for first generation, low-income, and racially underrepresented students, is a year-round journey pursuing research and preparing for graduate school with the support and guidance of McNair staff and faculty mentors. We encourage any student interested in graduate school and getting a Master's or PhD, regardless of whether you think you are eligible or where you're at in school, to complete the eligibility questionnaire and set up a meeting where we can share more information about preparing for graduate school. Being a McNair Scholar has numerous benefits including community, feedback on all graduate school application materials, guidance on seeking funding for graduate school, and a paid summer research internship.
