Congratulations to EWU McNair Scholar Wendolyn Martinez! Wendolyn has been accepted into the Junior Summer Institute in Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) at the University of Michigan. This summer institute is an intensive seven-week summer program that focuses on preparing undergraduate students from all over the United States for graduate programs in public policy and international affairs. This fellowship includes a stipend, University housing, books and related course materials, and the cost of airfare to and from the program! Wendolyn completed research last summer as a part of the EWU McNair Scholar program comparing propaganda from the US and the USSR with mentor Dr. Dorothy Zeisler-Vralsted. We're so excited for Wendolyn's next step in preparing for graduate school! To learn more about Wendolyn and her research, check out her page on our website!
