EWU McNair Scholar, Sandra Espinoza, completed a McNair Research Project this summer with her mentor, Dr. Katherine Colles. Her research title is “Hermeneutical Phenomenological Analysis of Inracultural Bullying Between Mexican Americans and Mexican Immigrants” Great job!
Sandra Espinoza has just returned from the Diversity Research Symposium at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She presented her research: Hermeneutical Phenomenological Analysis of Intracultural Bullying Between Mexican Americans and Mexican Immigrants. The theme for this symposium was Creating Brave Spaces for Inclusion, Equity, and Justice. Congratulations Sandra!
Edith Melendez will be traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah to present their research at the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), the largest diversity in STEM conference in the country. What an incredible opportunity! Congratulations!
Edith Melendez has been accepted into a 7-week summer research experience program at UC Santa Barbara as an Academic Research Consortium (ARC) Scholar!
