Touchmark’s core values—Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion—are the building blocks Touchmark uses to reach its mission: To enrich people’s lives.
This organization in the city of Spokane, Washington, Touchmark on South Hill offers a front-seat view of eastern Washington’s four distinct seasons, as well as easy access to nearby cultural and recreational opportunities. Our spectacular campus is a wonder in itself, with 19 acres of vibrant green space, blooming gardens, and inviting walking paths, perfect for morning exercise or an afternoon stroll with a friend. This would be a great student friendly and teacher friendly place for students to put in work to give to community members, community members deserve to receive surprises and small gifts such as holiday cards or anything doesn’t matter the size of it. A gift is a gift, I know that anyone would be happy about it. This would be a great experience for teachers to do with their students.
Teachers and students could partner with the organization to make a difference by creating their own activities and sharing it within the members who live in this community. For example, going along with my project that I created could be used to partner up. I created a activity that is involved with a holiday such as Valentines Day. On Valentines day, students get to create valentines cards and then be able to give them to the teacher to send them to the community center. The teacher takes these cards to make these members who live their feel happy and not so much lonely for the holidays.
