This organization provides a fun and safe space for everyone to enjoy reading. They have thousands of books, all different reading levels so that anyone can find the perfect book to read. The libraries also provide a laptop lending service all year, this is great for students if they don’t have access to a laptop at home when doing a research project. The libraries also have different events going on, like story times for younger students, movie nights, and game nights. For those students who aren’t readers, the libraries also provide movies for check out as well. The libraries are a great place for students to be at all ages.
There are many ways that teachers and students could partner with the Spokane Public Libraries. The libraries could host movie nights for the school for all students and their families. The school and library could raise money for the school and also promote reading at home. The library could donate old books to the schools in the area so that teachers and school libraries could provide more books for students. Students could create posters of their favorite books that the library could display for the community to see.
