As educators it is important to be aware and knowledgeable of their students and their familial situations, along with organizations, such as this, that are out there to help. Knowing about the resources that are available will help not only the families, but the students to be better in school as well. Not only that, it is also important for teachers to look beyond the school to the families of their students, and even further than that to the community in general.
They also offer services to Domestic Violence and Fire Victims with referral from a partner agency. All services are provided free of charge.
