All on-campus student employment opportunities are posted to ewu.joinhandshake.com. Students are welcome to work off-campus but many students enjoy the benefits of on-campus employment. On-campus employment is based around the EWU Academic Calender and breaks, priorities your students’ grades, and is within walking distance from class.

EWU provides many free resources to our students! For help in specific a course check out PLUS tutoring. For time management, and study tools check out PLUS Coaching. EWU does not have a campus nurse. However, just steps away from our Cheney campus is the Rockwood Cheney Clinic.

Current EWU students, who are enrolled in six or more credits (must opt-in if you want summer coverage), receive free walk-in clinic and primary care appointments at MultiCare Rockwood. To schedule an appointment please call 509.233.5102. Multicare Rockwood has locations in both Spokane and Cheney.

EWU is one of the safest public university campuses in Washington, and one of the top 100 safest campuses in the United States.* In fact, local families love to visit campus for picnics, childcare and even for trick-or-treating. The biggest contributor to such a safe campus is the shared commitment of faculty, staff and students.
