You belong at Eastern.
The Pride Center has been an active and thriving part of EWU's campus life since 2010. We support and empower LGBTQ+ and ally students because you belong at Eastern. Browse our website for more information on who we are and what we do, and don't hesitate to contact us!
For the health and safety of our community, our lounge space is closed for Fall 2020 and Winter 2021.
You can still knock on our door or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you want
staff support, or need access to resource pamphlets or safer sex products.
Looking for community?
We know finding a community of peers can be difficult, especially if you're a new student. We encourage you to connect with one of our virtual lounge spaces, where a group of about 25 students actively engage with one another each week. On Thursdays at 4pm Eagle Pride, Eastern's LGBTQ+ student organization, hosts their weekly meetings (currently via Zoom). You can also click here for additional information about LGBTQ+ social and academic life at Eastern.
Although the Pride Center's lounge is closed, we are staffed and ready to support you. Don't hesitate to reach out to us directly!
Eastern's LGBTQ+ History
Eastern has a long history of LGBTQ+ community, activism, and support. Check out our living timeline of significant LGBTQ+ moments at EWU, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have something to add to our timeline!
