EagleWell is a comprehensive employee health and wellness program sponsored by Eastern Washington University. It serves as an information hub for EWU employees on a wide range of resources and activities to support overall health and wellbeing.
EagleWell is a result of efforts by the University to enhance the campus community culture by promoting employee self-care and wellness, connecting with EWU values, creating accountability, and furthering employee training and development. Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Washington State Employee Assistance Program (EAP) supports health and well-being with a variety of services and resources including: counseling, legal, financial counseling/education, and manager tools.
Employee Recognition
EWU’s Employee Recognition Program is a strategic initiative designed to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions, dedication, and outstanding performance of our staff and faculty.
Fitness & Health Facilities

Food Pantry
The EWU Food Pantry Program aims to alleviate hunger and foster a healthy and inclusive community by providing access to nutritious food for EWU staff, faculty, and students who are experiencing food insecurity.
Nursing Parent Room
In support of a EWU employees and their families, EWU provides dedicated spaces for nursing parents to express milk, supporting continuing opportunities for breastfeeding and bonding with their babies.
SmartHealth
SmartHealth is a voluntary wellness program offered as a benefit through the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) program. The Health Care Authority (HCA) has contracted with a vendor, Limeade, to administer and provide the SmartHealth program to eligible PEBB members.
