The Health, Wellness and Prevention Services office is here to help students achieve academic success through healthy living while at college. The Comprehensive Health and Wellbeing Program is an all-inclusive approach to physical and psychological wellbeing for Eastern students. Any student taking six or more credits will participate in this program.
Students will have access to a basic level of ambulatory health clinic services at any MultiCare Rockwood location in Spokane County that offers Primary Care, Family Medicine or Urgent Care. Students will also have access to counseling at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) on the Cheney or EWU Spokane campus at no additional cost. Health and wellbeing programming, education, and other wellbeing resources are also available. Additionally, this program supports collaborative educational efforts with Residence Life, Student Rights and Responsibilities, Rockwood Clinics, Athletics and other campus and community partners.
