The Student Care Team is committed to serving the campus community, and to serving students who may be experiencing personal challenges as the campus transitions to virtual classrooms and services.

EWU Student Life and the Dean of Students seek to encourage and empower our students to discover, pursue and realize their personal and educational goals. Our efforts and resources are founded on the following key principles to facilitate student retention and success: support, advocacy, engagement and learning.

The Office of Disability Support Services is dedicated to the coordination of appropriate and reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities that are based upon individual needs, so that each student may receive an equal opportunity to learn, to participate in campus life, and to grow emotionally and socially, and to successfully complete a program of study that will enable them to be self supporting while remaining as independent as possible.

The Multicultural Center is known as a “home away from home” for many students of color and other marginalized communities. It is a space where critical conversations take place, in addition to beignet a place to student, hold meetings and have social events.

The Pride Center strives to be a welcoming and affirming place for all EWU community members, particularly those who identify as LGBTQ+ and allies.

The Veterans Resource Center provides critical services and support to our service members, veterans and their families. The VRC assists with your transition from the military to higher education and back into civilian life as you learn to navigate the university system.

Gender, Women’s & Sexuality Studies offers students the skills to critically and actively engage with the world. In this interdisciplinary field, you will integrate theory and practice to transform social relations, representations, knowledges, institutions, and policies.
