How Do I Join a Sorority or Fraternity

Fall recruitment is open to new, current, and transfer students enrolled at EWU. Recruitment provides the opportunity to meet members and learn about all that sorority and fraternity membership has to offer. These events are designed to build relationships, provide education, and build confidence in the decision-making process.

Each council has a specific recruitment process and/or registration, so be sure to check out each council tab.

How to join a Panhellenic Sorority

Panhellenic sororities host Fall Primary Recruitment. This process is designed for an individual to find which sorority best aligns with their values and what they are looking for in a sorority.

Registration is required. There is a registration fee that covers meals during the week.

After registering for primary recruitment, you will then be matched with a Rho Gamma, a member of the Panhellenic community, to help guide you during the week of recruitment. This person will be on-hand to answer any questions you have, to help you get to the right destination, and listen to your concerns and answer your questions.

How to join DGC organization

All Diversified Greek Council sororities and fraternities have a recruitment process through informational sessions throughout the academic year.

The DGC chapters conduct a semi-structured process in professional/business attire. At these sessions, students are able to ask questions specifically about the chapter.

Students who choose to attend these meetings should research the chapter ahead of time before arriving at the informational session. There is no application form or fee for these types of recruitment events, so just be on the lookout for announcements posted on campus.
