Congratulations to EWU McNair Scholar Lizeth Bañuelos! Lizeth has been accepted by the Masters in Counseling Program at Arizona State University. Lizeth is majoring in Applied Developmental Psychology and minoring in Race and Culture Studies as well as Chicana/o/x Studies. Her research interests include psychology of the Latinx community and focusing on Latinx college students and their mental health in higher education institutions. Lizeth completed an EWU McNair Summer Research Internship in 2020 under the mentorship of Dr. Aryn Ziehnert, Lecturer in the EWU Psychology Department.
