EWU Scholar, Veronica Albrecht, was selected to participate in the Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research title was “Can in vitro cultures be used to model drought and aquaporin expression in symbiotic fungi?” Great work Veronica!!
This summer, Jaimie Kenney was selected to participate in the Cornell Summer Research Scholars program at Cornell University, funded in part by the U.S. Department of Agriculture-National Institution of Food and Agriculture. Her research project was titled “Role of a Single Amino Acid of Grapevine Fanleaf Virus Indetermines Symptom Expression.” Great job Jaimie! We are proud of you!
