This tool is used to get a whole group attention. It is helpful, especially when a undesired behavior is coming from the whole group. As a teacher you can use this tool to help correct more than one student.

An energizer can be used to get the students active and reengaged. A good time to use this is after they have been sitting through for a while. This is to help the students not check out during the day.
Mailboxes
Mailboxes serve a very important role in the classroom setting when implemented correctly. Each student needs to have their own mailbox along with the teacher. The mailboxes can be personalized to have their name or can be listed off in numbers (which can be used as a grouping strategy). It also needs to be listed in the rules and procedures so students know how to use them.
Signal Interference
Signal Interference is a nonverbal Intervention that communicates that a behavior is not appropriate. It is helpful during instruction, because it lets the student who is misbehaving know that their behavior is not ok, yet it does not cause distraction to the rest of the class.

Planning for high traffic area tool is helpful by organizing the classroom in a way where all things that will be used during group work is widely separated from each other, have plenty of space, and easy to get to for students if they are moving around a lot.

Brain Breaks can be used for individual students or for whole group. These brain breaks for correction are used when a specific student or students are off task and need some sort of movement to release energy and focus their brain back onto the lesson or activity.

A phone call home can be used for any student any time he or she has done something in the classroom that they deserve to be recognized for. The teacher will simply call home, ask for the student, recognize he or she for something they have done well or have been working hard at, and then say goodbye.
Name Dropping Interference
Name dropping interference is a corrective tool used to let students know when they are off task. Teachers aren’t directly pointing out their behavior but rather saying the students name to get their attention and have them answer a question or show the class an example. It is helpful to keep students on task and a good reminder for them to stay on task.
Random Acts of Kindness
Random Acts of Kindness is a tool used in the beginning of the year where students first pick one envelope each where it has an act of kindness written in it. Their next step is to do that act of kindness and take a picture or write about what they did. It is helpful as it shows students different ways they can show kindness to each other.
Appealing Classrooms
Appealing classroom can be used to nurture reflective thinking. Having cool tone colors and uncluttered rooms can create a positive classroom that will proactively prevent student misbehavior.
