Communication & Collaboration
Digital Signage (AppSpace) is an enterprise application to allow digital sign owners to manage content of their own digital signs across EWU’s campus. Students, faculty and staff may create and submit content to be considered for publishing.
Google Drive and the associated apps (Docs, Sheets, Etc.) are accessible through your EWU account. Visit Inside.ewu.edu, log in, and select Google Drive from the Cloud Storage menu option to store, share, transfer, and collaborate on files and documents.
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Office 365 cloud-based applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and storage (OneDrive) are accessible using your EWU account. Visit Inside.ewu.edu, log in, then select Outlook Office or Calendar to access the Office 365 environment. OneDrive can be accessed via the Cloud Storage menu option.
Several web conferencing options are available at Eastern. Zoom is the primary institutional solution while Google offers Meet and Microsoft Office includes web conferencing as a part of Teams.
Google Meet is another web conferencing option and accessible via the Google environment and can be used to web conference with fellow EWU faculty, staff, and students.
Microsoft Teams is included in the Office 365 cloud and offers collaboration and communication tools including chat, common file storage, and web conferencing. Teams can be accessed via Inside.ewu.edu A-to-Z menu or via desktop application.
Zoom is the primary web conferencing solution at EWU and accessible via the A-to-Z menu on Inside.ewu.edu. Faculty and staff have pro licenses allowing for unlimited meetings using your EWU account. Students have basic licenses and are limited to 40-minute meetings with more than two participants.
