From Campus to Corporate: Building a Career with Global Brands

A graduate of the Master of Science in Communications program at Eastern Washington University, Marianne Duong has led corporate and brand storytelling narratives for some of the world’s most iconic companies.
Currently, Marianne oversees communications and public affairs for Starbucks 80+ international markets. As the lead communications integrator for the company’s International and Global Channel development businesses, she works with leaders across the organization as well as its business partners, to amplify Starbucks business and brand narrative around the world. Marianne’s experience spans nearly two decades of global communications and brand reputation management during the most dynamic moments at Dole Food Company, CH2MHILL Hanford Group (now Jacobs) and XO Communications.
She serves on several boards, including Eastern Washington University’s Alumni Association.
