McNair Scholar Laurisa Ankley presented a poster at the American Society for Microbiology Northwest Branch Meeting at WSU on Oct 13-14. The title of her research was “How supplemental iron impacts the antibacterial effects of Manuka honey”. She also received a top 4 poster award. Great Job Laurisa!  

Sandra presented her research at DRS

Sandra Espinoza has just returned from the Diversity Research Symposium at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She presented her research: Hermeneutical Phenomenological Analysis of Intracultural Bullying Between Mexican Americans and Mexican Immigrants. The theme for this symposium was Creating Brave Spaces for Inclusion, Equity, and Justice. Congratulations Sandra!
