Eastern Washington University is proud to announce that Justin Edney, a senior majoring in Applied Developmental Psychology and a McNair Scholar, has been accepted into the Clinical Psychology Master’s Program at Millersville University.
As a first-generation college student, Justin has distinguished himself through determination, resilience, and a passion for helping others. Throughout his undergraduate journey at EWU, Justin has cultivated his academic interests, particularly in the effects of modern technology on cognition and mental health, as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy as a treatment for neurodevelopmental disorders. Guided by an empathy-driven, person-centered approach, Justin aspires to build a career in the helping professions, making a positive impact on the lives of others. Justin’s acceptance to Millersville University’s prestigious Clinical Psychology Master’s Program marks the next step toward his goal of earning a PhD in Clinical Psychology. His academic achievements, research, and compassion for others position him as a future leader in the field of psychology. Congratulations, Justin, on this well-deserved accomplishment!
