You can use a nickname on a Canvas course card to personalize how a course appears on your dashboard. This can be very helpful when dealing with courses that have long, similar names, allowing you to quickly identify the specific course you need by giving it a shorter, more descriptive nickname. This is especially helpful when sending messages to students through the Canvas Inbox.
