We are excited to announce that we have a new CTE Director, Becky Chamberlain!
Becky most recently served as Adjunct faculty for the EWU Department of Education after coming back to EWU hiatus from her 3 year commitment to WSU as the Director for the Office of Professional Development, Corporate Training and Community Education at WSU Tri-Cities. With more than 25 years of experience in business and education, Becky is a visionary leader, successful problem solver and positive change agent. In the business world Becky is an effective corporate trainer and held senior leadership positions within two national training companies. She has spent the last 25 years as a secondary school educator and post-secondary school leader working in a variety of public institutions with diverse populations. In education, Becky found herself leading in several roles including as a CTE classroom teacher, Career Counselor/Work-based Learning Coordinator, central office administrator, Regional Director for the State of Idaho School-to-Work grant and the Director of Running Start and Summer Session programs at Eastern Washington University for 10+ years.
Becky holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Professional-Technical (CTE) Teaching and Corporate Training from Idaho State University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Eastern Washington University. She also holds a certification in Dependable Strengths facilitation training and Project Management. She has extensive experience in providing professional development training opportunities and connecting with patrons to build solutions that will be the most valuable and successful for their organization and team.
