Do we need a Strategic Plan? If so, why?

Yes, EWU needs a Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan serves as a roadmap to the next five years to EWU success. It turns high level ambitions into actionable, concrete steps at the department level and guides faculty and staff towards specific goals. A Strategic Plan is also essential for budget planning and resource allocation. EWU needs a current Strategic Plan in order to achieve goals, align our efforts, allocate resources effectively, and adapt to the changing higher education and landscape.
